I am the composer of “Gayland” the musical.  Yesterday we had our first music rehearsal off book (that is, from memory).  In 40 minutes of music I changed the key of two numbers (down a step) and rewrote about 40 measures to suit the singers’ voices better. It’s exciting to hear hear my music with real voices after composing for so long on a computer.
